Leaf Size

One thing I’ve just recently started paying attention to in my garden is leaf size.  I realized last summer that I had too many plants with fussy leaves.  So I tried to add some large leaved plants this spring.  I bought a canna lily, which is growing, but I didn’t get a flower and the leaves aren’t as big as I thought they’d be.  This is a picture I took earlier this summer at the NY Botanical Garden.  I’ve got to research this, burdock, and I might try it next year.  I think it was in their herb garden.
